Yup so I started this blog and sure enough I abandoned it a week later, so before I make it to Priscilla’s infamous probation list, here is an update.

This month I got a ton of e-mails for photography gigs and things are seemingly picking up for us as far as NB Photographix goes. That a big blessing cause we (I)  were (was) starting to get anxious. I guess it all goes back to:

Philippians 4:6 “do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.”

On several occasions in Jan & Feb,  I felt like giving it all up, selling all my equipment, and looking for a job, any job. I was at the point where I figured “hey flippin burgers aint so bad as long as there is a steady income.” I just want to thank God for listening to our prayers and responding they way He did. Times are rough I just found out today that one of my clients was laid off, she was kinda freaking out, thankfully I was able to share with her about how I felt when I was laid off last year just a few weeks before Nattie & I’s wedding,  I felt lost and confused too, but it turned out to be a blessing, as now I am doing what I love.

These times are tough for those who are jobless. But I can honeslty say that God does provide us with what we need and we do not have to be anxious about anything. Its kind of sad how it takes crisis and distress for us to turn towards God in prayer and submission.

Tonight I will be driving a bus full of young people to Wake Forrest North Carolina to attend the 2009 20/20 Collegiate Conference. I look forward to listening to  Mark Driscoll who is the founding pastor of Mars Hill Church in Seattle, Wash., which has been named one of the fastest-growing and most influential churches in America.

The key here is the “feels like” temperature due to the wind chill, yup 17. Hows that for cold Miami? We barely scratched 39 this morning.

Well, my next move, out of sheer curiosity, was to search the word Google, and yes, just as I suspected. It turns out “Google.com” can harm your computer too. Along with every other site on the world wide web. I guess “google has gone whack for today. It saddens me since Google is my home page and where I do 99.9% of my searching. I sure do hope they fix the problem soon, cause I have a feeling this is going to affect a lot of businesses. On a lighter note, you can Yahoo my site and not get a warning message. So rest assure that my site is not dangerous to your computer.  I found this article on the BBC web page. It seems Google has been doing this for a while, and , I guess now the entire Internet has been deemed Un-Safe. By the way don’t bother googling the BBC, cause, yeah you guessed it, it may be harmful to your computer.

Mabel, in red, is my mother in law  , she’s a pretty cool mother in law, and not just cause she may one day read this, but I really mean it. She has taken care of me like if I were her son and I will always be grateful for that. Next is the big burly dude there that’s my father in law Raymond. I call him Marcus, cause its what I’ve called him since the day I met the guy, he says he hates that name, but I’m sure not when it comes from me. Ever since my Dad died I have looked up to this guy as the next best thing, I can honestly say that he is. Then in the blue is Jenni. Jenni is my sister in law. She’s like a cool nerd. Friendly as anyone Ive ever met. She lives in Cape Coral with her husband Van. I just realized I said nerd, I meant nurse. But that will work too…And the cutie in the green, well that’s my adorable wife! The love of my life, the one I would lay it all down for. Yup, that’s my Nattie.

I guess now folks can get a glimpse into the mind few wonder about,  the thoughts less spoken, or written anyways.

I am going to attempt to be as straight forward as possible on topics I find of importance and sometimes irrelevant yet highly entertaining to say the least.

Feel free to comment and state differences of opinion.

I think that is what will make this work.
